Principal's Message
Dear Parents/Caregivers and Students,
I hope that you all had a restful weekend. A few reminders as we are getting accustomed to routines and procedures.
Please revisit the dresscode with your child(ren) regarding jackets and hoodies. Only solid colors or LHS hoodies/jackets. Please see the graphics below as a reminder.
School ID's must be worn as they are part of the dress code.
Students are not be be dropped off prior to 7:15am.

Louisiana DOE Makes Changes to ELA Testing
Last week, the State Department of Education made changes to the ELA state assessment for students in grades 5-8. Student will no longer take the IAP assessment. They will go back to taking the traditional ELA LEAP test in the April.
Battle on the Border
The Annual Battle on the Border will be Thursday, August 22nd at 6pm at Joaquin High School.
DPSB App & Rooms
All campuses in DeSoto Parish use a tool called Rooms for strengthening the connection and collaboration between the classroom and home. Download the DPSB App to access rooms. Get all the resources you need to navigate Rooms on the district website including the new Rooms Central for parents!

Parent Portal & JCampus App
All campuses in DeSoto Parish use JCampus for student information and progress. Parents are able to download the JCampus Student mobile app to their device for easy access to check student progress. Schools will be releasing schedules and other information the week of August 5 in the student portal, but you can set up access to JCampus Mobile now, learn more on the new page!
