Labor Day Holiday & SPT Conferences
Students will not attend school Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. Tuesday, September 3rd is a Virtual Learning Day for our students with SPT Conferences going from 10am-6pm. Students will return to campus on Wednesday, September 4th.

The October ACT date is Sat. October 26th. Registration deadline is September 20th. Email Mrs. Bush to get a fee waiver.
Senior Cap & Gown pictures will be Tuesday, September 24th.
DeSoto Parish Football Jamboree
The annual DeSoto Parish Football Jamboree will be held at North DeSoto High School, Friday, September 30th. Kickoff is at 7pm. Our Tigers will have the 2nd & 3rd games of the evening.
JH & JV Football Scheduled
Our Junior High Tiger Football Team will be on the road to North DeSoto on Tuesday, August 27th & to Many on Thursday, August 29th.
Our JV Tiger Football Team is scheduled to play at Calvary next Tuesday, September 3rd at 6pm.
Games will be away until construction is complete on our stadium. Updates will be made on the LHS Website as well as our social media pages.
Fall Picture Day
Fall Pictures will be on Wednesday, September 25th for our PK-5th grade students. Our 6th-11th grade students will take theirs pictures on Thursday, September 26th. Students must be in school uniform for these pictures as they will be used for the yearbook.
Student Government Elections
Student Government elections will be held on Sept. 6. for grades 6-12. Any student wishing to participate should get a contract from Mrs. Bush's office or Mrs. Griffin's room. Campaign posters cannot be put up until your form has been returned to Mrs. Griffin and approved by administration

Parent Portal & JCampus App
All campuses in DeSoto Parish use JCampus for student information and progress. Parents are able to download the JCampus Student mobile app to their device for easy access to check student progress. Schools will be releasing schedules and other information the week of August 5 in the student portal, but you can set up access to JCampus Mobile now, learn more on the new page!
