Dear Logansport High School Families,
We celebrated a lot last week because of our high attendance rates. A large number of kids were treated to drinks and popcorn to celebrate perfect attendance for the month of August. Our attendance goal is 95%, and we were able to reach that mark for month of August. We are currently on track to meet it again for the month of September and look forward to more celebrations. Attendance is a crucial factor in academic success and we want to thank the community for helping us to meet our attendance goals.
I also want to congratulate our award winners for the month of August:
Cain Boswell-Elementary Student of the Month
Jalaysia Washington-Junior High Student of the Month
Noah Bonnett-High School Student of the Month
Codi Ward-Support Employee of the Month
Aubry Scott-Teacher of the Month

Just a reminder of our District and LHS Tardy Policy:
A tardy will be defined as not being in the classroom when the bell rings to signify the end of a transition period. A student who is less than 5 minutes late to class, including 1st period, should report to class. A student who arrives more than 5 minutes late will be considered as skipping and should be sent to the office. A student is not considered tardy if they have a signed note from a teacher or adminisrative pass. When a student has acquired a 4th tardy during a grading period, a referral should be sent to the office showing the dates on which the student was tardy and the interventions taken by the teacher. Students shall receive disciplinary action from the adminstration when they accumulate their 4th tardy during a 9 week grading period. The disciplinary action will be as follows:
Infraction Action Taken:
