From the Desk of Dr. Sims...

Welcome Back, LHS Families!

As we return and enter a critical stretch in our academic year, I want to remind our students and families that our expectation for high performance has never wavered. Excellence is not seasonal at LHS, it is our standard.

We are now in a focused push toward state testing. This is the time to sharpen our focus, increase our urgency, and commit fully to daily growth. Every lesson matters. Every assignment matters. Every day matters.

For our K–8 families, ZEARN is an integral part of your child’s instructional day. Research shows that consistent engagement with ZEARN significantly increases student performance in mathematics. We strongly encourage students to complete their lessons daily and to stay on pace. Your partnership at home, ensuring lessons are completed, makes a measurable difference.

Parents, staying informed is essential during this important season. Please download the JCampus Student App to remain connected to grades, attendance, and school communication. Strong communication between school and home is one of the most powerful tools we have to ensure student success.

Let’s stay committed. Let’s stay focused. Let’s rise to the moment.

Remember We Are T.I.G.E.R.S. - Together In Greatness Everyone Rises & Succeeds.

Sincerely,

Dr. Joshua Sims
Principal
