Mansfield High School Serves to ensure the academic success, develop the character, and celebrate the graduation of all students.
Today is our first day back from a well-deserved Spring Break.
As we near the end of the school year, it is easy to slide into complacency with routines. However, keep in mind that excellence is a choice.
The spring comes with many athletic events, junior class ring ceremony and senior awards, recognitions, activities and graduation. We encourage all of our students to display our Wolverine CORE values so they can enjoy all of these!
Our expectations will remain high, so we encourage everyone to return refreshed, recharged and rejunvenated to end out the school year strong, Wolverine STRONG!
Wolverine STRONG!

DeSoto Parish Schools will be hosting an English Learner Family and Commmunity event at the Administration Building on Thursday, April 10th 4:30-5:30 p.m. (399 Jenkins Street). District and school level information will be avaiable in multiple languages. Come out to this event! MHS will have a table where you will be greeted by Coach Burch and Mrs. Stewart! Stop by to see them!
Please remember that all cellphones must be turned off and put in backpacks. It is a state law that cell phones not be used during the school day. This has been enforced since the first day of school; however, we do notice that some of our students are becoming lax. We are experiencing a rise in cell phone violation referrals. Please partner with us as we enforce this state law year round. We appreciate you so much in advance!
Thursday, April 10th at 5:30 p.m. in the new gym- Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. We have been advertising this special evening for months now. If you have any questions before Thursday, please reach out to Ms. Thompson at jessica.thompson@desotopsb.com. We cannot wait to celebrate with our juniors and their guests!
We are a 1:1 Chromebook ratio school district. Each student has an assigned Chromebook. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger everyday to school.
Students may enter the building as early as 7:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m., which is when instruction starts. We dismiss daily at 3:01 p.m. Car riders can be picked up 3:01-3:10 p.m.
