LEAP testing is underway at Mansfield High School. High school students in Louisiana must pass their LEAP tests in order to graduate. At MHS, we schedule our students to take all of their LEAP tests their 9th & 10th grade years, encouraging them to meet that graduation requirement early. Please ensure that your students get a good night's sleep and a good breakfast so that they can do their BEST!
Last week, Algebra I students took their LEAP test. This week, Geometry, English I and English II students will test.
Each class has chosen their own rewards if they earn Mastery or Advanced on the LEAP! We are already excited to celebrate our students as soon as results start coming in!

All seniors must take their final exams between May 1st and May 6th in order for grade point averages to be calculated on their high school transcripts for graduation. Final exams count for 20% of each senior's course grade, so please encourage all seniors to come to school everyday. Our teachers have been prepping the seniors all semester for these exams. We have confidence that our seniors will do well!
Please remember that all cellphones must be turned off and put in backpacks. It is a state law that cell phones not be used during the school day. This has been enforced since the first day of school; however, we do notice that some of our students are becoming lax. We are experiencing a rise in cell phone violation referrals. Please partner with us as we enforce this state law year-round. We appreciate you so much in advance!
Faculty, staff and students donated blood on Friday, April 25th. Students were granted permission to be excused from class in order to do so, showing them how we can balance academics and serving others. All donors demonstrated our Wolverine CORE values!
We are a 1:1 Chromebook ratio school district. Each student has an assigned Chromebook. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger everyday to school.
Students may enter the building as early as 7:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m., which is when instruction starts. We dismiss daily at 3:01 p.m. Car riders can be picked up 3:01-3:10 p.m.
