Principal's Message

Celebrating student success is something we do well here at MHS!

We are always looking for ways to highlight our students and commend them for the good job they are doing inside and outside of the classroom.

These occur within the building, but we also share these with our families and community members through this newsletter and our social media platforms.

Whenever you see our students highlighted, please join us in congratulating them. A kind, positive word goes a long way!

As always, thank you for partnering with us to provide our students with an exceptional high school experience!

May You Help Us?

Our students are improving so much with arriving to school on time and attending on a regular basis. However, we are noticing that we can improve in the area of student engagement in classrooms. Students enjoy school so much more when they are involved, and this includes actively participating in class. Please encourage your student to engage. We appreciate your help so much!

Expectations

Please remember that backpacks must be clear or mesh. Please remember that all cellphones must be turned off and put in backpacks.

Surge and CiCi's Pizza

Our students who earned Mastery and Advanced on their Fall 2024 LEAP tests told us they wanted to go on a field trip to Surge, so we made it happen! Friday, they enjoyed a day out of school having fun with one another, bowling and playing arcade games. They also enjoyed an all you can eat pizza, dessert and drink buffet! We love celebrating our students!

Technology

We are a 1:1 Chromebook ratio school district. Each student has an assigned Chromebook. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger everyday to school.

Daily Schedule

Students may enter the building as early as 7:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m., which is when instruction starts. We dismiss daily at 3:01 p.m. Car riders can be picked up 3:01-3:10 p.m.
