As we move into the week of March 16, Mansfield High School is officially stepping into the final nine weeks of the school year. With the ACT testing window behind us, we are seeing our students stay Rooted in Resilience—maintaining their momentum and carrying the same Perseverance into this new quarter that they showed at the start of the spring.
We are now in that vital stretch where preparation turns into daily execution. It is great seeing our scholars continue to show up as Team Players in the classroom, keeping those strong habits from the third quarter going as we head into the heart of the spring season.
As we continue celebrating National Nutrition Month, it’s encouraging to see our students prioritizing the fuel they need to "Nourish to Flourish." Whether they are out on the field for spring sports or finishing up their certifications, that extra focus on wellness is helping them stay sharp and energized.
Starting this new grading period, we remain focused on our mission to celebrate the graduation of all students. The energy on campus this week is setting a fantastic tone for the rest of the year, keeping every Wolverine moving steadily toward the finish line. |

At the same time, Mansfield High School remains committed to strengthening leadership at every level. Recently, Assistant Principals Mrs. Ogunyemi and Mr. Burch participated in a district Professional Learning Cluster where assistant principals from across DeSoto Parish came together to collaborate, share strategies, and discuss ways to continue supporting students, teachers, and school communities. Investing in leadership development helps ensure that our schools remain places where students can thrive academically and personally.

Mansfield High School is proud to have Assistant Principals Mrs. Ogunyemi and Mr. Burch representing our campus and contributing to these important conversations that help move our schools forward. #DeSotoStrong #WinningTogether |

| Wolverine Family, Wolverine Family,
As we move into the week of March 16, Mansfield High School is entering the final nine weeks of the school year with focus, purpose, and momentum. This is an important stretch of the semester, and we want every student to remain committed to strong attendance, consistent effort, and daily academic progress.
With ACT testing now behind us, our attention turns fully to maintaining that same level of preparation and discipline in the classroom. The habits our students build now—staying organized, meeting deadlines, and remaining engaged—will make a meaningful difference as we move closer to the end of the year.
March is also National Nutrition Month, which serves as a reminder that student success is supported by healthy routines both in and out of school. Proper rest, balanced meals, and daily readiness all play an important role in helping students stay focused and perform at their best.
We encourage all students to continue communicating with their teachers, taking ownership of their work, and finishing this school year with determination. Your continued support at home helps reinforce the importance of accountability, preparation, and perseverance. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting Mansfield High School.
"United together, We win." -Christopher Thomas |

Following a strong showing at the NSU Regional Competition, Mansfield High School’s Educators Rising students continued their competitive journey at the 2026 Educators Rising State Conference held at Louisiana Christian University.
MHS is proud to share that Yuxi Zheng earned 2nd place in Children’s Literature at the state level. This accomplishment reflects continued dedication, preparation, and excellence as Yuxi advanced from regional competition to the state stage.
The conference gave students the opportunity to showcase their skills, connect with other future educators, and further explore pathways in the education profession. Mansfield High School students represented Wolverine Nation with professionalism and pride throughout the event.
Educators Rising continues to provide valuable experiences for students interested in teaching and educational leadership, helping them build confidence, sharpen their skills, and prepare for future success. MHS proudly congratulates Yuxi Zheng on this outstanding achievement and celebrates all students who represented the school at the state conference. |
