When this newsletter posts, MHS will have had our March morning assembly. Morning assembly is a time when we all come together as a school community and celebrate one another. This has become a part of our school culture, and I hope that it is setting a good example for our students to always find the good in people.
This morning was the same, but we celebrated two staff members who may not receive much recognition: Mr. Jarvis and Mr. Mervin Franklin, two of our custodians. They were nominated for monthly spotlight by one of our teachers. Check out our school website and social media later on today to see their highlight.
Let's highlight our staff who spend time outside of the classroom too. It takes all of us working together to run a school, and we could not do it without our custodial staff.
When was the last time you thanked someone who may not receive much recognition?

Report card grades for the first nine weeks will be available via the Student Progress Center tomorrow. If you have any questions regarding your student's grades, please do not hesitate to contact us at the school (318) 872-0793. Thank you in advance for partnering with us!
Please remember that backpacks must be clear or mesh. Please remember that all cellphones must be turned off and put in backpacks.
Thank you to everyone for helping us make ACT testing at Mansfield High School a huge success last week! 100% of our faculty was present each day! Very few students were absent and/or tardy. There were positive vibes, attitude and energy both days! We cannot wait to get the results back so we can celebrate our students. We are confident that many of them met and/or exceeded their personal goals they set for themselves.
We are a 1:1 Chromebook ratio school district. Each student has an assigned Chromebook. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger everyday to school.
Students may enter the building as early as 7:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m., which is when instruction starts. We dismiss daily at 3:01 p.m. Car riders can be picked up 3:01-3:10 p.m.
