What a busy week filled with activities for all of us upon returning from Winter Break!
We kicked off the week with Student-Parent-Teacher conferences! Thanks to each of you for coming by to meet with our amazing faculty to hear about your student's progress and identified next steps for continued improvement. Research shows that a strong connection between school and home moves the needle for students at an accelerated rate!
Some of our leadership team members traveled to the 2025 NIET National Conference in Washington, D.C. to gain new insights on improving teacher effectiveness and positively impacting student achievement. We cannot wait to see the transfer and impact of this new learning at MHS!
Our student-athletes in Wolverine and Lady Wolverine basketball continued to demonstrate what #HighPerformance means on the court as they competed in playoff games.
I encourage you to please stay connected with us through our weekly newsletter and all of our social media platforms on all things Wolverine!
Wolverine STRONG!

Returning from a break allows all of us to reset and start fresh! We want to do so even with the seemingly "small" things as well, such as with our dress code policy. High school prepares our students for the the real world where they will have a career that will no doubt come along with expectations regarding dress, grooming and identification. When possible, please have these conversations with your students at home, and reinforce the connections between high school and the real world. We appreciate your help so much!
Please remember that backpacks must be clear or mesh. Please remember that all cellphones must be turned off and put in backpacks.
Many students were recognized at morning assembly last week, including those who earned a 3.5-4.0 grade point average from the fall semester. Ask to see your student's certificate of achivement, and ask them what they chose as their treat at lunch as an added "thank you for your hard work."
We host monthly morning assemblies that always highlight teachers and students who contribute to a positive and caring culture on campus and who are excelling inside and outside of the classroom. Ask your student if they have been highlighted at a morning assembly this school year!
We are a 1:1 Chromebook ratio school district. Each student has an assigned Chromebook. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger everyday to school.
Students may enter the building as early as 7:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m., which is when instruction starts. We dismiss daily at 3:01 p.m. Car riders can be picked up 3:01-3:10 p.m.
