Mansfield High School Serves to ensure the academic success, develop the character, and celebrate the graduation of all students.
It's the week that we've all been waiting for, the graduation for the Senior Class of 2025!
Our seniors and their families have worked extremely hard to get to this point, and it is time for us all to come together to celebrate them this week.
This senior class is a special one! They've earned MANY scholarships and special recognitions over the past two months. Each week over the past two months, we've been celebrating them over the intercom, in morning assemblies, at the Elite Scholars' Banquet and in individual classrooms.
We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored scholarships to our seniors. We are most grateful for your generous spirit and support of our students! It truly takes a village!
This week will be filled with activities for our seniors:
Monday, May 12th- Senior Honor Cord Ceremony-MHS New Gym-1:30 p.m.- Dressy attire
Thursday, May 15th- Mandatory Graduation Practice- MHS-11:40 a.m.

Please join us in celebrating the MHS Senior Class of 2025 Friday, May 16th at WTR Stadium. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. Please be prepared to go through our metal detectors. The ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. It will be an unforgettable evening!
Please remember that all cellphones must be turned off and put in backpacks. It is a state law that cell phones not be used during the school day. This has been enforced since the first day of school; however, we do notice that some of our students are becoming lax. We are experiencing a rise in cell phone violation referrals. Please partner with us as we enforce this state law year-round. We appreciate you so much in advance!
On Monday, April 28th, five MHS seniors were named as DeSoto Parish Elite Scholars: Ja'Kyra Allen, Cedetric Canada, Xavier Grant, Destini Williams, and Steven Zheng. These seniors had to meet very strict requirements. The evening was beautiful as each of the five seniors and their families were honored. The event took place at the MEMS Multipurpose Room with a formal sit down seafood buffet. There to celebrate the Elite Scholars and their families were Principal Ross, Coach Burch, Dr. Morgan, and Mr. Mickey Morgan. Ja'Kyra Allen gave the Challenge to Seniors as the DeSoto Parish Student of the Year. She also received the senior scholarship of the evening. Congratulations again to the MHS Elite Scholars!
We are a 1:1 Chromebook ratio school district. Each student has an assigned Chromebook. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger everyday to school.
Students may enter the building as early as 7:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m., which is when instruction starts. We dismiss daily at 3:01 p.m. Car riders can be picked up 3:01-3:10 p.m.
