All students are expected to follow our Little Griffin S.O.A.R. Behavior Expectations. The "S" in S.O.A.R. stands for "safe behavior". We teach students that safe behavior means using their walking feet everywhere we go such as in the hallways, bathrooms, classrooms, and cafeteria. The two places students may run is outside at recess and in the gym when instructed by the P.E. coaches. The second part of having safe behavior is making sure students use self control. We teach that self control means that they keep their hands and feet to themselves so that they do not hurt others as well as staying with their teacher at all times (walking in line correctly, not leaving classrooms without permission, etc.) . Please discuss examples of "safe behavior" with your child. This is very important to maintain a positive, caring learning environment for all of our Little Griffins.
