Using Habit 4: Think Win-Win Over Christmas Break

Christmas break is a wonderful time for rest, celebration, and togetherness—but it can also bring busy schedules, shared spaces, and big emotions. Habit 4, Think Win-Win, helps families enjoy the season by finding solutions where everyone feels respected and included.

During the break, students can practice Habit 4 by:

Taking turns with games, toys, and screen time

Including siblings and cousins in play and conversations

Using kind words when plans or traditions don’t go exactly as expected

Celebrating others when they receive gifts or special moments

Families can encourage Habit 4 with simple conversations like:

“How can we make this fun for everyone?”

"What’s a fair solution that works for both of us?”

“How can we help each other enjoy our time together?”

When families use Habit 4 over Christmas break, children learn that the best memories are made when everyone feels valued. Thinking Win-Win helps create a season filled with cooperation, gratitude, and joy—for the whole family. 🎄
