NDLE Attendance Announcement |
We have some incredible news to share with our Little Griffin families! Thanks to your dedication to getting your students to school every day, we didn't just meet our attendance goal for February—we surpassed it!
Our goal for February was 97%, but because of your amazing support, we reached a 98% average for the month. This is a huge win for our students' learning and our school community.
Because of this achievement, Mr. Tabor was recently recognized at the School Board meeting. He was presented with $200 for our school for having the highest attendance average in the entire district for February! This reward will go directly toward supporting our students and school programs.
The momentum is staying strong! We want to thank you for helping us meet our first-week goal for March of 97%. Let's keep up this fantastic work as we move through the rest of the month. Remember: Every day counts! |

You're invited to our Kindergarten Musical! |
Dear Kindergarten Families,
Dust off your boots and get ready for a morning of music and smiles! Our talented Kindergarten students have been working hard to prepare a wonderful series of country and folk-themed songs to perform just for you. We can’t wait to see our little stars shine on stage! When: Friday, April 10, 2026 To ensure everyone has a great view, we have two performance times: 9:00 am Performance: Featuring the classes of Miss Beasley, Mrs. Hardaway, Mrs. Holsomback, Miss Moore, and Mrs. Turner. 10:00 am Performance: Featuring the classes of Miss Freeman, Mrs. Meserole, Mrs. Simmons, Mrs. Webb, and Miss Young.
What to Wear: In keeping with our country/folk theme, students are encouraged to wear their favorite western or cowboy-style outfits! "Sunday best" is also a great choice. We kindly ask that students do not wear hats during the performance so that every family member has a clear view of all the performers. We look forward to celebrating our students' hard work and creativity with you! Sincerely,
Mrs. Brawley and the Kindergarten Team |

| Habit 6: Synergize—The "Together is Better" Habit!
At NDLE, our Little Griffins are learning that while being a leader starts with ourselves, the real magic happens when we work with others. Habit 6: Synergize is all about believing that "Together is Better."
Synergy isn't just about getting along; it’s about realizing that your strengths plus my strengths can create something better than either of us could do alone. It’s like a box of crayons—one color is great, but when they all work together, they can draw a whole rainbow! What does Synergy look like for a Little Griffin?
Celebrating Differences: Understanding that everyone thinks, learns, and sees the world differently—and that is a good thing! Open-Mindedness: Being willing to listen to someone else's idea before jumping in with our own. Teamwork: Finding "The High Way"—a solution that is better than "my way" or "your way."
Try the "Synergy Tower" Challenge at Home! Looking for a fun way to practice Habit 6 this weekend? Try this simple family activity: The Goal: Build the tallest tower possible using only items from your recycling bin (cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, etc.) and some tape.
The Rule: No one can lead! Every person must contribute one idea, and you must combine those ideas to build the base. The Lesson: After you’re finished, talk about how the tower is stronger because you used everyone's different ideas to balance it. "Synergy is better than my way or your way. It's our way." |
