You're invited to our Kindergarten Musical! |
Dear Kindergarten Families,
Dust off your boots and get ready for a morning of music and smiles! Our talented Kindergarten students have been working hard to prepare a wonderful series of country and folk-themed songs to perform just for you. We can’t wait to see our little stars shine on stage! When: Friday, April 10, 2026 To ensure everyone has a great view, we have two performance times: 9:00 am Performance: Featuring the classes of Miss Beasley, Mrs. Hardaway, Mrs. Holsomback, Miss Moore, and Mrs. Turner. 10:00 am Performance: Featuring the classes of Miss Freeman, Mrs. Meserole, Mrs. Simmons, Mrs. Webb, and Miss Young.
What to Wear: In keeping with our country/folk theme, students are encouraged to wear their favorite western or cowboy-style outfits! "Sunday best" is also a great choice. We kindly ask that students do not wear hats during the performance so that every family member has a clear view of all the performers. We look forward to celebrating our students' hard work and creativity with you! Sincerely,
Mrs. Brawley and the Kindergarten Team |

| March Leadership Spotlight: Habit 6 in Action! |
This March, our hallways have been buzzing with the power of Synergy! Habit 6 is all about valuing strengths and working together to create something better than we could alone. We are so proud of how our students have practiced "The High Way" this month:
In the Classroom: Our leaders have been synergizing during "Leprechaun Trap" builds and group projects, realizing that two (or three!) heads are better than one when solving a tricky problem. At the Lunch Table: We’ve seen students making sure everyone feels included, sharing stories, and helping one another keep our cafeteria clean and organized.
On the Playground: Whether it’s starting a new game or resolving a conflict, our students are choosing to listen first and cooperate to make recess fun for everyone. Watching our Little Griffins celebrate each other's differences has been the real "pot of gold" this month! 🏠 Family Leadership Challenge: The "Mystery Menu" 🍽️
Ready to take Synergy home? Try a teamwork challenge in the kitchen! The Goal: Work together to create a family snack or meal where everyone has a vital job, but no one person is the "boss." Synergize the Menu: Everyone suggests one ingredient. The challenge is to combine them into something tasty (even if it’s a creative new invention!). Assign Roles: One person is the "Prep Leader" (washing/sorting), one is the "Chef" (mixing/assembling), and one is the "Presentation Pro" (setting the table). The Habit 6 Check-in: While you eat, talk about which part of the meal would have been hardest to do alone.
"Synergy is not my way or your way; it's a better way, a higher way." — Dr. Stephen R. Covey |
