First Grade parents and students are invited to the NDUE Gym on May 12th at 6:00 pm for a Second Grade Orientation. |
The end of year countdown for all grade levels will begin Monday May 11 and end the last day of school, May 22. |
Monday, May 11 : Bubbles Day
Tuesday, May 12: Chalk Day
Wednesday, May 13: Field day (students wear athletic clothes).
Thursday, May 14: Awards Day (students wear "Sunday Best").
Friday, May 15: Glow Day (students wear neon colors)

Monday, May 18: Fun Day (Check ROOMS and folders for instructions from teachers)
Tuesday, May 19: Outside Day
Wednesday, May 20: Beach Day (dress for sun, school appropriate, no swimsuits)
Thursday, May 21: PJs and Movie day (students may wear pajamas to school this day).
Friday, May 22: Students' last day (bring a stuffie and blanket)

Awards day at NDLE is on May 14 in the gym. Remember that our parking is limited due to construction. Allow yourself time to find a spot and walk to the gym entrance. Assemblies will be held with little time in between so we will need guests to move in and out of the gym quickly. 8:00 is Edwards, Burris, Fogleman, Enders, and Burford's First grade classes. 8:40 is Boyce, Register, Wheeler, Woods, and Chambers First Grade Classes. 9:20 is Holsomback, Moore, Beasley, Turner and Hardaway's Kindergarten Classes. 10:00 is Young, Freeman, Meserole, Simmons, and Webb's Kindergarten Classes. 10:40 is Juneau, Hubbard, Junkin, West, Morgan, and Foster's PreK classes. Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Sharrow will host their parents in their classrooms at 8:40. ECSE parents and only ECSE parents will sign in with the office.

Field Day for NDLE will be on May 13 from 9-11 at NDHS Griffin Stadium. Parent will watch from the stands. Parents are not allowed on the field. Please remember to make sure all of our Little Griffins drink plenty of water the day before this event. Students should wear athletic shorts, their class field trip shirt for this year, and closed toe athletic shoes. |

Streetcar snoballs will be at Field Day for parents and guardians to purchase. |

The next Booster Club Meeting will be Wednesday, May 13 at 3:00 pm in the Multipurpose room. There will be no more concessions this year. |
