NDLE's only drop off entrance is Entrance #1, North of North DeSoto Upper Elementary. Morning Carpool begins at 7:05 a.m. Please make sure your child is ready to get out when you pull all the way forward in the drop-off line. Carpool drop-off ends at 7:35 a.m.
For your child's safety, do not drop them off once duty teachers go inside. After that time, please park and walk your child in through the cafeteria to check them in. Students are considered tardy after 7:40 a.m. We want to be sure that every student is safe and supervised.
Thank you for helping us keep mornings safe and smooth.

The goal is to complete 12 Zearn lessons by November 21st, and the reward is Galaxy Slime! Get ready to blast off, explorers—the mission begins Monday! |

Habit 3 Family Challenge: Put First Things First! “Work first, then play!”
Habit 3 teaches us to focus on what’s most important before we do the fun extras. It’s about managing our time, responsibilities, and choices so we can reach our goals—and still have time for what we love!
Family Challenge: This week, try the “Big Rocks First” Challenge!
Talk Together: As a family, make a list of your “big rocks” (important things)—like schoolwork, family time, chores, or sports practices. Then list your “small rocks” (fun extras)—like video games, TV, or playtime.
Plan It Out: Use a simple calendar or sticky notes to plan your week. Make sure the “big rocks” get scheduled first
Reflect: At the end of the week, talk about what you noticed.
What helped you stay focused?
How did it feel to get important things done first?
Did having a plan make your week smoother?
Celebrate your success with a fun family activity! Putting first things first helps everyone stay balanced, organized, and ready to lead.
