  • Booster Club will be selling concessions on Friday, Oct. 4. They are trying different options to find out what works best for them and the teachers so it doesn't disrupt learning time. This week they will set up a table in the multipurpose room for concessions. A price list will be sent home during the week. Students bring their money on Friday, in a labelled bag or envelope in your child's folder.

  • Please come to our next Booster Club Meeting on Monday, Oct. 14 in the NDLE Cafeteria at 6:00 pm.

Little Griffins have the opportunity to continue learning over Fall Break. DeSoto Parish Schools provides learning apps through the Clever portal on Student Chromebooks. Log into the Chromebook with your child's QR code or Google email address. The password is your student's Student I.D. number. Go to Clever.com and Click Login as Student. There are a variety of apps available to all students. Feel free to explore each one to see what they offer.

PreK Teachers would like for all PreK parents to accept an invitation to Ready Rosie. This invitation was sent by email. This learning resource aligns with the T.S. Gold standards that are taught by PreK teachers. Reach out to your child's teacher through ROOMs if you need help with this.

On Clever, First grade and Kindergarten students can practice reading skills with MyPath Reading, Reading Eggs, and Renaissance. The Renaissance app, the red one with a big white R, has access to MyON which is an online library of books that feature books on your child's reading level. Renaissance is also where the Accelerated Reader quizzes are found. Math apps are Zearn and MyPath Math. Teachers have also provided resources for students. You can click the links to access those resources.
