All students are expected to follow our Little Griffin S.O.A.R. Behavior Expectations. The "A" in S.O.A.R. stands for "act respectful". We tell students that acting respectful means you use nice words and good manners. It also means to be kind and caring towards all adults and children on our campus. Using words like "please", "thank you", and "excuse me" are always welcome at NDLE when talking to classmates, the cafeteria ladies, custodians, administrators, and other teachers. Another part of acting respectful that we teach, is to be fair. This means that all Little Griffins must learn to take turns and share classroom equipment and materials. Learning how to act respectful to others is a lifelong skill that can help our Little Griffins succeed in all they do.
