Dear NDMS Families,
This week, we are excited to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. This is a nationwide campaign dedicated to promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles among students. Schools across the country use this week to educate and empower young people to make safe, respectful, and positive choices for their futures.
At North DeSoto Middle School, we’ll be participating through daily themes, classroom conversations, and fun dress-up days that reinforce the message of “Life is a Puzzle. Solve it Drug Free.” Each activity helps remind students that the choices they make today shape who they become tomorrow.
We encourage you to continue these important conversations at home. Talk with your student about what it means to stay drug-free, handle peer pressure, and make decisions that support their goals and wellbeing. Family discussions are one of the strongest ways to help children build confidence and values that last.
Thank you for your continued partnership in helping our students lead, learn, and serve.
