Dear Griffin Families,

We are officially five days away from Christmas Break, and the excitement is building across campus! As we wrap up this wonderful time of year, we have several opportunities for families to come out and support our Griffins and celebrate their hard work.

This week, our boys’ basketball team will play at home on Tuesday and Thursday. We would love to see our stands full as we cheer on our student-athletes.

On Tuesday at 7:00 PM, our Mighty Griffin Band will present its Christmas Concert at NDHS. This is always a special performance and a great way to enjoy some holiday spirit together as a community.

We are also looking forward to Frosty Fest on Thursday, where we will celebrate and reward students who have met their goals. During the event, Sno Cones and Joe’s 2 Geaux will be selling pizza for students to enjoy.

To add to the festive fun, students may wear joggers with Christmas shirts and/or Spirit shirts each day this week as we head into the holiday break.

Thank you for your continued support of our students, staff, and programs. We are grateful for our Griffin families and look forward to finishing the semester strong together.

Shout out to December 1st's NDMS High Flyers! These students demonstrate hard work and follow school rules. They make good decisions, manage priorities, are kind to others, and exemplify what it means to be a true Griffin! Way to go, Griffins! December's Griffins have the quality of showing kindness;  they are friendly, generous, and considerate, demonstrated through actions like offering help, showing empathy, and being compassionate, often without expecting anything in return. Representing 6th grade are Isabelle and Briggs. 7th grade representatives are Kinley and Maddox while 8th grade is being represented by Tuff and Gracelyn. Congratulations to each of you! You are proof we are #winningtogether!
