NDMS Families,
As we wrap up the 3rd nine weeks, it’s a great time for our students to refocus and finish strong. Our Griffins on a Mission goals remind students each day to do their best with attendance, behavior, and academics, and these last few days of the grading period really make a difference.
We encourage parents to take a few minutes this week to check in with your student about how things are going at school. Ask them about their classes, if they have any missing work, and what they need to do to end the nine weeks on a strong note. Sometimes a quick conversation and a little encouragement from home can go a long way in helping students stay motivated.
We are proud of the hard work our Griffins have been putting in, and we’re excited to see them finish this nine weeks strong by showing up, making good choices, and giving their best effort in the classroom. As always, thank you for your support and for partnering with us to help our students succeed. We are always better together! ~Mrs. Rhoads |

Shout out to February's NDMS Students of the Month! These students demonstrate hard work and follow school rules. They make good decisions, manage priorities, are kind to others, and exemplify what it means to be a true Griffin! Way to go, Griffins! February's Griffins have the quality of being innovative; they are great at introducing new ideas, are original and creative with their thinking. They also use new ideas, methods, products, or solutions that create value, improve existing things, or solve problems in original ways, moving beyond creativity to practical implementation that brings about positive change or advancement. This involves thinking differently, experimenting, taking action to bring something new into being, whether it's a completely new invention or a fresh new take on an old process. Representing 6th grade is Izabella. 7th grade representative is Lily while 8th grade is being represented by Alan. Congratulations to each of you! You are proof we are #winningtogether!
