Real Talk with Rhoads..

NDMS Families,

As we wrap up Assistant Principal Week, I wanted to take a moment to shine a well-deserved spotlight on two individuals who help keep our school running smoothly every day, our incredible assistant principals, Mr. Cornet and Mrs. Saverino.

Simply put, they are the heartbeat of what we do daily at NDMS.

From the moment the first student walks through the doors to the final bell of the day, Mr. Cornet and Mrs. Saverino are everywhere. They are supporting students, problem-solving, encouraging teachers, handling the unexpected (and sometimes the very unexpected), and doing it all with professionalism and care. If schools had air traffic control towers, they would be in them. Headsets on and directing the organized chaos!

What makes them truly special, though, is how they model our core values in everything they do. Whether it’s showing patience, demonstrating responsibility, building relationships, or leading with integrity, they consistently set the tone for what excellence looks like at NDMS. Our students are not just learning from them; they are learning because of them.

Assistant Principal Week may be coming to an end, but the impact Mr. Cornet and Mrs. Saverino have on our school is something we celebrate all year long. In all seriousness, our school would not function without their leadership behind the scenes. We are incredibly fortunate to have two of the very best APs around.

~Mrs. Rhoads
