Welcome Back Griffins!
We hope you had an exciting summer filled with lots of memory-making and fun. We know you are ready to start strong this year at NDMS. At North DeSoto Middle School, our mission is to provide every student with a safe, supportive learning environment where they can become the best version of themselves. Our goal is to prepare you not just for academic success, but for a life of leadership and service.
One thing is certain: NDMS is a school of excellence. For over ten years, we have been at the top of state rankings for traditional middle schools. This happens because of the intentional work our staff and students put in each day, with the support of strong families and a strong community. This is just one thing that makes NDMS such a special place.
As we start this year, we will remain focused on three powerful words: Learn. Lead. Serve. Every day, you will have opportunities to learn new things, lead yourself and others, and serve your school, classmates, and community.
The teachers and staff have been preparing for your return and look forward to meeting and greeting you this week. Just a reminder: you can pick up your schedules at Open House on Monday, August 4, from 4:00–6:00 PM.
