NDMS Families-
We’ve made it through August and the back-to-school rush! Thank you for helping make it a great start to the year! Labor Day is a day to honor those who work in the workforce each and every day. We hope this long weekend is filled with end-of-summer fun, family time, and much-needed rest.
As we move into September, our students are hitting the ground running! We all know middle schoolers can be full of words or sometimes quiet. If needed, here are a few talking points you can use with your student this week:
Ask your student about their goals and progress in class.
Ask them how many Zearn lessons they have completed (our weekly goal for each student is 3).
Talk with them about the importance of attendance. Every day in the classroom matters—we want your student here and learning!
On another note, we can’t wait to cheer on our football, volleyball, and auxiliary teams as they shine this week. We are also looking forward to seeing everyone at Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences on September 8th.
Just a reminder- NDMS appreciates your support!
