Principal's Message

Dear NDUE Families,

I hope you and your family enjoyed the 3-day weekend in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. One of my favorite MLK quotes is "Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education."

Each day, we strive to center our day on achieving our personal best, not only in the classroom but in the development of our character. Treating others how we want to be treated, being the light, focusing on our circle of control, and using our actions to positively influence others; these Leader In Me concepts were not born from Steven Covey; they are foundational truths that so many, including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, implored as they encouraged others to peacefully do what's right and lead by example.

It is our honor to work with your student and to be a part of forming their young minds, habits, and values. People say, "It takes a village to raise a child." We are so fortunate to be part of your village and thankful that you are a part of ours.

Thank you for your continued support. Geaux Griffins!
