Dear NDUE Families, I can't believe we are in the final stretch of the school year. Time flies when you are having FUN!
Every year comes with ups and downs, highs and lows, struggles and successes. I encourage you this week to spend time talking to your student(s) about their progress this year. In a world full of push, push, push, more, more, more... let's pause and celebrate how far your child has come this school year.
Look at photos from the beginning of the year and discuss how much they have grown and changed. Ask them about their favorite memories at school so far, and what they are looking forward to in the last 9 weeks of the year. Share with your child something they have accomplished or tackled this year which you noticed but maybe haven't yet complimented them for. Reassure your student that you are proud of them in their best moments and in their worst. Let's approach these last 9 weeks together with a grateful heart and celebrate how far we have come together in support of the children of our community. Geaux Griffins! Casey Hamon |
