KONA ICE

Kona Ice is coming to NDUE on Friday, March 28. You can pre-pay for your student's Kona Ice until midnight on Thursday, March 27 by scanning the QR code. Students that do not pre-pay may bring money to school on Friday, March 28 to purchase a snow-cone. We prefer pre-pay to make things run more smoothly and in a time efficient manner. Kona Ice will replace concessions on Friday, March 28.

LEADERSHIP DAY

Join us in celebrating Leadership Day at NDUE on Friday, March 28th. 

9:00-9:15 - Check-In & refreshments (guests go straight to the gym)

9:15-9:45 - Leadership Showcase in the Gym (only students with a speaking part participate in this program)

9:45-10:45 - Classroom Visits

  •  Students will teach classroom guests about the 7 habits and showcase their leadership skills.

  •  Due to classroom spacing, only 1 guest per child will be allowed to participate in our classroom activities.

  • Students will tour the Art Show with their guests. All students have art displayed in this showcase.

10:00-10:45 - School Tours for Community Leaders (guests of students on or leading the tour may also attend)

10:45-11:00 - Closing Remarks

Students do not attend the program with guests. Teachers have planned a day full of activities for your students to celebrate their leadership. Please do not check your student out on this day.

All students will have a piece of art on display in our NDUE Art Show, which will take place on Leadership Day, March 28th. Please come see all the amazing things our students have created in Art.

NDUE STUDENT SPOTLIGHTS

Please share with us your children's accomplishments outside of school, so that we can share them with the community! We are proud of our Griffins. We are specifically looking for Team Championships (please include ALL NDUE students on the team's names) and Individual Awards. Attach any pictures and a list of the awards along with the name of the competition by going to the link below. Thank you!

GRIFFIN 5K

The annual Griffin 5K is THIS THURSDAY, March 27th at Griffin Stadium. If you want to help through volunteering or sponsorship, please email ptondue@gmail.com. Register for the Griffin 5K using the QR Code. NDUE students who register for the 5k can wear athletic wear to school the week of March 24-28.
