On Friday, November 7th, we honored Veteran's Day with a special school-wide program. Students in grades PreK–5 each performed to celebrate and show appreciation for our veterans. Their songs, readings, and presentations made for a heartfelt and meaningful tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country.
We are grateful for our veterans and proud of our students for helping make the event so special.

Our FFA welding students recently constructed a custom fire pit for a silent auction hosted by the Krewe of Demeter. The Krewe generously donated all proceeds back to the Stanley FFA.
Pictured are Matt May, Captain of the Krewe, and Prince Jacob Brown, an FFA member here at SHS.
In addition, our talented students created a Harley Davidson–themed fire pit for a benefit supporting Brittany Wheeles.
We are proud of the hard work, craftsmanship, and community involvement shown by our student welders.
We have some truly talented students here at SHS! 💙🖤 |

SHS Student Shines in Community Theatre Production |
Sophomore Chance Robertson recently took center stage as a lead character in The Murder at Haversham Manor at the Back Alley Community Theatre in Grand Cane. This 1920s-themed murder mystery comedy follows a frantic cast determined to push through last-minute set troubles—proving that “the show must go on!”
Chance delivered a standout performance as Robert, portraying Thomas Colleymoore with confidence, humor, and stage presence.
We are proud of Chance’s dedication to the arts and excited to celebrate the incredible talent we have here at SHS!
