Stanley High School empowers our students to become graduates equipped with the values, confidence, and skills to become successful in academics and in life.

Christmas Spirit Week will be the week of December 15th-19th! Grades PreK-5th will do classroom activities to go along with each day, but EVERYONE is allowed to dress up and show Christmas spirit! 

After learning about the geography of Mexico and the significance of ancient Mayan architecture, Miss Wise’s class brought history to life by designing and building their own model Mayan temples. Students worked together to plan, construct, and decorate their replicas, applying what they learned in a fun, hands-on way.

Our Middle School Hall is officially in the holiday spirit! This year, our teachers and students transformed the hallway into Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys for the SHS Christmas Hallway Contest.

Students jumped right in by coloring characters, cutting out snowflakes, and even posing for photos so they could “become” elves or Christmas ornaments on the walls. The hallway is full of color, creativity, and Christmas cheer, and we’re so proud of the effort our kids put into making it come to life.🎅✨

Our Junior FCA at Stanley High School knocked it out of the park this year! Last year, they packed 12 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, and this year, they set a goal to reach 20. Thanks to the support of Grace Church and Mr. Tommy, they hit that goal!

These shoeboxes travel all around the world to children who may not receive anything else for Christmas, and our Junior FCA students love being part of something that brings so much joy. We’re proud of their hearts, their hard work, and their willingness to serve others. 🎄💙🎁

End-of-Course (EOC) testing starts this week for our high school students. Please review the schedule below:

• English 1: Tuesday–Thursday, December 2–4
• English 2 & Civics: Monday–Wednesday, December 8–10

To help students do their best, please ensure they:

    1. Arrive with Chromebooks fully charged

    2. Get a good night’s rest

    3. Eat a healthy breakfast to power up their brains for          testing
