SHS Scholars in Action
Mrs. Lopez's English 1 students are working in collaborative groups. Groups are responsible for discussing character analysis as well as charting character predictions and inferences of self-perception, and locating text evidence.
Reading Eggs Shout Out:
L. Dillard in Mrs. Boyett's 1st grade class has completed all her lessons for the year on the Reading Eggs online reading platform. Way to #UpholdAcademicExcellence
SHS Spotlight
Senior FFA members attended the 2024 National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Convention was about growing the next generation of leaders. Their goal was to find inspiration and direction to become a leader and influencer, ready to make an impact.
They made a once and a lifetime trip out of the opportunity by also visiting St. Louis, Missouri and Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee. They were able to visit the arch in St. Louis and attend the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

Homecoming Shirts
Homecoming Shirts are on sale! Shirts are $20 and can be printed on your choice of "class colors" (purple, green, blue, red, orange, yellow) or on black.
All orders are due by Nov. 15th. Order forms were sent home, but if another copy is needed, please ask your child's homeroom teacher or get with Mrs. Chamberlin.
