Dear NDUE Families,

Thank you for a great start to the 26-27 school year! We appreciate everything you continue to do to support your student in achieving their personal best!

This week is the last week of the quarter, and everyone is ready for FALL BREAK and hopefully some cooler weather. Let's make this last week count. The deadline for students to meet their first 9-week goals is Friday, and our teachers will be teaching their hearts out until that last moment. We need your students here with us; students can always make up work, but it is hard for them to make up the lost instruction. Help us get the most of every minute, and then head off into FALL BREAK to Sharpen the Saw with your families.

Don't forget, our Johnny's Pizza night Fundraiser is Tuesday, 9/29 at the Southern Loop Location. We would love to see your family there.

Johnny's Pizza Night Fundraiser

Join us September 29 from 5- 8 p.m. at Johnny's Pizza on Southern Loop. 20% of ALL orders made during that time frame (online or in-store) will be donated to our school. Our Student Lighthouse Team and Admin will be working the event in-store. The class that has the most participation will WIN a pizza party.

HOCO WEEK

OCTOBER 12-16

Jeans may be worn as part of any of the dress up days. The Homecoming Parade will be on Friday at 9:30. Information about floats will come through your team coach/sponsor.

Jeans may be worn as part of any dress up day. Please note that on Friday, there will be no scary costumes, no face masks, no props to carry, and all characters MUST BE fictional!

The MAGIC that is NDUE would not be possible without your support, determination, encouragement, and innovative ideas. We are so lucky to have you serving in our school.
