October 2026

We know you have busy schedules and want to make sure we provide you with all the important dates for this school year.

High School News

Our Stanley High School FFA students have been hard at work designing and building projects for the State Fair competition! From a Harley-Davidson fire pit to an outdoor fish and game cleaning station, these students are putting their skills, creativity, and craftsmanship to work!

We are proud of the time, effort, and dedication they have put into their projects. It's exciting to see their hard work come to life!

Great job, Panthers, and good luck at the State Fair! 🐾

On October 19, our Stanley High School Agricultural Welding and Carpentry students toured International Paper!

During the visit, members of International Paper's Human Resources and plant management teams shared valuable insight into the company's operations and the many career opportunities available.

As one of DeSoto Parish's leading employers, International Paper provides approximately 750 full-time jobs, along with opportunities for hundreds of subcontractors and trucking professionals.

A big THANK YOU to International Paper for welcoming our students and providing such an informative and motivating experience! Opportunities like these help students connect classroom skills to real-world careers and see the possibilities ahead! 💙🖤🐾
